What I do as a digital strategist?

I utilize creative thinking to effectively communicate brands online strategy and drive awareness with consumers. Strategy is about forging connection, engagement, and relevancy between a brand and its consumers. 


Cultural Communities

Use data analytics to inform brands on ways to connect with diverse audiences. Spread awareness through data to tell story of what diverse users are saying online regarding social topics and branding. Present findings to client and agency on current trends amongst audiences (multicultural teens, teens and young millennials, African American teens, Gen Z, Hispanic Teens, Asian American Teens, millennials).


Entertainment

I have extensive experience aiding artists and music technology brands in increasing their digital marketing footprint. At Def Jam I worked on the digital marketing team leveraging social media tactics (sweepstakes, in person activations, and influencer outreach) to build artist fan engagement and track metrics via Crowd Tangle. At Deepr I served as their residential social media liaison, where I created innovative content and strategy for the brand weekly. 


Experiences

I founded, One Night Only Music Festival that highlighted Hip-Hop and R&B music which became an annual event across five college campuses, Claremont Mckenna, Pitzer College, Harvey Mudd College, Pomona and Scripps. The festival is noted for its inclusivity and actively trying to shift the culture to recenter underrepresented identities. While at Def Jam I aided artists in single release activations at different venues across NYC.
